This agent, Jeff Martin, is absolutely phenomenal. As far as we're concerned he worked an unbelievable real estate miracle for us. We live in a Redmond neighborhood that's considered very desirable. Houses rarely come up for sale here and whenever they do there are instant multiple offers practically overnight. We wanted our daughter and son-in-law near us in this same neighborhood with their young baby. Jeff quickly located a good place and helped us make a good offer that was accepted. Then at the last minute, we for our own reasons had to pull the plug on the whole deal at the last minute. Not only was Jeff perfectly calm, polite, and understanding about the sudden collapse of this major deal due to no fault of his, but he even helped us extricate ourselves from a situation that could very well have had us losing all our earnest money. But it gets more amazing! After that we kind of gave up on getting them a place in this area. There was NOTHING on the market here. But here's where Jeff really pulled a miracle: he actually cold-called every house in this neighborhood, very politely inquiring whether there was any chance they'd be considering putting their place up for sale soon. This is something I never would consider could possibly work out, in a million years. Unbelievably, he scored one! By pure chance, a guy was right on the cusp of putting his place up for sale and Jeff convinced him to just let us have it (it was perfect) at less trouble and expense for the owner (skipping unnecessary feel-good cosmetic renovations that we didn't care about) at a cheaper price which he was happy to accept because he'd just suddenly run into a time pressured condition. So it was a total win-win all around.
